Denver Mortgage Lender – November Market Update

According to the latest reports published by the Denver Metro Association of Realtors, there were still 7,586 active residential listings in the Denver area at the end of September 2017. This figure is up 3.07% from August 2017 and is down 0.17% from September 2016. Of those 7,586 active listings, 5,693 were single-family homes and 1,893 were condos.

There was a total of 4,427 residential properties sold in the Denver market during September 2017 – 3,165 single-family homes and 1,262 condos – which was 21.58% lower than the total for August 2017 and 15.60% lower than the total for September 2016.

The average sales price of residential properties in the local area was recorded at $429,597 for those that were sold during the month of September this year. When this figure is broken down by property type, we can see that the average sales price of single-family homes was recorded at $476,051 and the average sales price of condos was recorded at $313,096. Both of these averages prices were lower than the previous month but higher than the previous year.
